Tuscany Workshop
$2,695.00
Description
Please read this carefully
Immerse yourself in the light, landscape, and culture of Tuscany on this small-group photography workshop based in Siena and Pienza, in the heart of the Crete Senesi and Val d’Orcia. We’ll chase sunrise over misty valleys, explore classic hill towns, and photograph rolling countryside that seems made for the camera.
This workshop is designed for photographers who want to move from simply “taking pictures” to intentionally “making images.” We focus on composition, visual design, and working with changing light in the field, with plenty of one-on-one guidance. All experience levels are welcome; you’ll get the most from the workshop if you’re comfortable with basic camera settings.

Deposits, Refunds and Cancellations
Organizing a workshop like this requires financial commitments well in advance of your arrival. Often, these commitments are not refundable. Also, late cancellations are virtually impossible to replace. Because of this, I have to ask for your understanding and acceptance of this Deposit, Refund and Cancellation Policy:
Deposit Required
A $250 deposit on registration will hold your spot in this workshop.
This workshop requires a minimum of six participants to go ahead. I will make that call by mid to late January. If at that time I decide that the workshop is not viable, I will cancel and refund your deposit in full.
Although airline fare rules seem to change constantly, late January to early February is likely an ideal time to book your flights.
The balance is due no later than 90 days prior to the start of the Workshop (February 11th).
Cancellation Policy
If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you need to cancel your workshop within 90 days of the workshop’s inception, a full refund is not possible. For this reason, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND you purchase Trip Cancellation Insurance. Should the unthinkable happen and you must cancel, I will provide you with a cancellation invoice and any other paperwork your travel underwriter may require in order for you to submit a claim.
We are in the business of teaching photography workshops, and yet we also understand how last-minute circumstances can require one to cancel. We hope you understand how difficult, if not impossible, it can be to fill a spot in any given workshop when we receive a late or last-minute cancellation. Thanks for your understanding.
